Update

Well its been awhile since I have blogged so here goes....

Well I am a RN now, working the night shift...I love the shift and the money $$$. But its hard on me sleeping and trying to accommodate Lucas. Paz is doing a really good job taking care of the household stuff... and for that I am truely grateful...
Lucas is growing like a WEED...it never seems to surprise me what new stuff he does each day. He is going to pre-school 2 days a week and he seems to enjoy it...
The holidays are coming up and I have decided it WILL be a STRESS FREE holiday season for us!!!
We just moved into a new apartment, I love the location and the neighborhood. Hopefully we will get a house in the near future.

Sugery went GOOD

Today Lucas got tubes in his ears. I swear it took longer to get prepped than the whole surgery. I didnt even get to use the restroom before the DR was calling my name! Like 3 minutes tops. He was a little cranky and sleepy the rest of the day but I cant wait to see the improvement. Thanks for all the prayers! Here is a little sneak peek at his recent photo shoot.

Well I just finished my last lecture test of Nursing School...Graduation is Sunday @ Dallas Music Hall at Fair Park...Then I will take my HESI exit exam on the 13th...and my Pinning Ceremony will be the 14th...I am super excited...its finally here!
Lucas is doing good he has his first boo-boo on Tuesday night...The silly boy was climbing over the back of the couch and slipped and busted his top lip open..Lots of blood and not so much crying...But he's fine...Im just glad no teeth came out! He is getting his tubes in next Friday so he should be a much happier little boy!

Wheel of Fortune

They don't seem to be playing the bonus round any more. They wiped my points and started again at 400. I am mad but don't think there is anything I can do about it. Like the picture. Love you. Papaw

Tubes coming to ears near you

So most of you know that Lucas has had way too many ear infections...So we visited the ENT today....Dr Palmer (love him) and his recommendation was tubes! DUH! So he will be having them put in on May 8th at Cooks as an outpatient procedure...No IV..No intubation just GAS! Hopefully that will fix our little guy...
As for me I am taking my last test in Nursing School in 28 days...I am super excited...I have accepted a position in the Neuro ICU at Harris Downtown Ft Worth...I will miss my L&D friends and environment...but off to exciting new things to learn and do..and new friends to make...
